Why is my rug shredding?
It’s normal for a tufted rug to shed as its a freshly trimmed product. The shredding will decrease and eventually stop within a three to six months with weekly vacuuming.

How do I care for my loops?
Here are a few steps to follow-

  • Vacuum the rug once or twice a week.
  • If any thread pops out, do not pull it. Gently cut it with a pair of scissors.
  • Do not use any scrub or a hard brush.
  • Do not fold the rug, always roll its front side out and wrap in a cloth for protection
  • Avoid using the rug on a damp surface.
  • If spills occur, blot immediately, do not rub the stain.
  • Rugs are subject to wear and tear over time and can become faded if exposed to direct sunlight. They should be rotated every six months to minimize this.
  • Use protectors under the legs of heavy furniture to avoid flattening and piling.
  • If the rug is creased during it’s shipment, not to worry. It will disappear after the rug has been laid flat for some time. You can roll the rug with the pile facing outwards and leaving it like that overnight.
  • Professional Cleaning is recommended.
